Ramadan - The time when community bonds and spirit comes to life!

Ramadan, the times when everyone comes down to the mosque with their families to share smiles, conversations and prayer. Whether it is talking of the day, the pleasure and difficulties with fasting, it really is the best time of the year. This year ALF has hosted taraweeh prayer every night for 26 nights and has 3 more days of these prayers left before we host the ALF Eid ul Fitr (Ramadan Eid) at our mosque!

Open to everyone and anyone, our mosque has truly showcased the beauty of the Australian Multiculturalism and we have had over 50+ nationalities in our mosque during this time. Each prayer had up to 300 people and on some nights like Saturdays, up to 400 people! Everyone comes together in true sincere spirit to help one another, grow closer bonds and understand one another.

Please have a flick through our gallery below to see the beauty of Ramadan and the ALF mosque which is a home to so many different people from so many different place.

We can not wait to have even more people attend next year from even more diverse backgrounds!

ALF is proud to service to local community and it is truly our honour.
