ALF Completes Their 2025 Community Iftaar Dinners With Record Success

Australia Light Foundation would like to thank each and every single person who attended our ALF Community Iftaars. It truly was another year of beautiful moments grounded in sincerity, unity, acceptance and joy.

With over 2000 people attending across 3 weeks, it is safe to say that we have surpassed all our previous attendance records and it truly brings a smile to our face to see our pleased brothers and sisters enjoying our event. Serving such high quality food, all prepared, cooked, served and carried to the tables by none other than our community grown volunteers. How beautiful is that? We take our hats off to every single person who was involved in organising any part of such an amazing program and also to those that attended, supported and enjoyed themselves at our event.

During week 2, ALF even had special guests from the local and state governments, sponsors, esteemed friends and community leaders who ate together with the public and shared in the festivities of breaking ones fast with the Muslim community, it truly was a great showcasing of harmony, understanding and interconnectedness.

ALF would like to give a sincere thank you to the true heroes and backbone of this program, the ALF women. We thank them for preparing the foods while they themselves were fasting, cooking for long hours and preparing the beautiful food to be served. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

ALF looks forward to having such a program again next year, and cannot wait to see another record breaking year in 2026.
